My photography is prepared in several different formats or presentation styles. This way you can choose exactly what you like best for your home or office spaces. So this is the "presentation types" section. My work comes as:
-- Print Only: If you like the image but wish to work locally with a framer and their vast selection of mat colors and frame options (e.g., wood and metal), this is likely your choice.
-- Matted Print: I use Larson-Juhl A4903, Artique Ivory for my matte choice. Prints are mounted to 3/16" foamboard. For 5x7 prints a single mat is used; all other sizes, double mats.
-- Gallery-wrap Canvas: I print onto archival canvas, apply two coats of an archival matte varnish and stretch onto 1.5" deep keyed wooden stretcher frames. "Keyed" means a wooden key is in each corner and against each side of the supports used on larger sizes. These can be tapped into the joints (see image to the left) if the canvas ever loosens on the frame (unlikely but not impossible!). The key is tapped into the joint and the canvas tightens on the frame. The term "gallery-wrap" means the image wraps around the frame so all you see from any angle is the image, no black borders, no stretcher bar - just image. And "gallery-wrap" for me means what wraps around the edge is "mirrored" from the image itself, so all the original image is preserved.
-- Framed Print: the print is mounted to 3/16" black Gatorboard and an archival matte lamination applied with a heated roller system to the surface. This seals the print and removes all light reflections from the surface and the need to put glass in the frame.
-- Metal Prints and Acrylic Prints: I do offer both these types of print presentations. However, I do not do these myself. They are a fair bit more expensive and take more time as I work with the lab using guide prints that I produce to ensure what they print matches my colors. Please contact me for pricing and time considerations if these are what you wish. Glad to do them for you.
