Virtual fittings is something I envisioned then created for clients in the early 2000's. Extrapolating my artwork in my booth to what you would see on your walls at home or work is challenging for many. Bringing over a piece to hang on the wall to 'see' what it would look like had mixed results, especially if the piece was not the right size. Needs to be bigger? How much? Smaller? A lot? A little? Would that other image in the booth have looked better? Could we crop a vertical out of that horizontal? What about all those that we might see on the website? Hmmmm ........
Taking an image of your home or work space(s) where you would consider putting one of my images and then fitting it with a single or multiple pieces, as framed artwork, canvases, diptychs, triptychs, quadtychs ... with your colors and furnishing ... becomes a wonderful voyage of exploration. It allows you to see what my photography will look like in YOUR home or workplace in your surroundings. Priceless! Also, as verticals can be cropped from horizontal images and vice versa, the 'correct image may be different than what you initially considered.
If you wish to explore a virtual fitting, let's take the journey. As you see in the pictures above and below, send me a picture of your wall space(s) with a piece of paper on the wall or if a piece of artwork is already in the space, measure the outside dimensions if it is framed or outside dimensions if it is a canvas. Stand back as far as you can and photograph more telephoto - yes, with your cellphone if you must!!! Standing further away and shooting more telephoto will keep the perspective lines more straight up-and-down and horizontal from side-to-side, preserving accuracy in the virtual fitting. Tell me the image or images you wish to explore, whether single panel or multiple panels and let's see where it takes us! Guaranteed you will likely be surprised!
